Exterior Signage Solution for Windsor Park, an 80-Acre Master Planned Senior Living Community in Chicago
Windsor Park is an Illinois area retirement community that provides the tranquility and charm of a Tudor country home. As a continuing care retirement community, Windsor Park offers individualized service to its residents such as independent residential living, supportive assisted living, memory support or skilled nursing living.
Windsor Park is part of the Covenant Retirement Community, and ASI has provided successful exterior signage solutions for the Covenant Village of Cromwell community in Connecticut. For the 80-acre Windsor Park campus in Illinois, ASI, Chicago was asked to design and implement a durable, all-weather exterior signage system to meet the wayfinding and site identity needs of the eight Tudor style multi-unit residences and duplex homes located on the master planned campus.
After surveying the site and its many parking areas and entrances, ASI provided a wayfinding plan to help guide residents and visitors throughout the campus. Based upon the wayfinding plan and the information needs of the residents, ASI designed a durable custom exterior signage solution with easy to read graphics and a minimal amount of messages. The design combines natural stone bases with sign panel faces featuring the community’s brand identity. While the secondary wayfinding signage is non-illuminated, the primary entrance monuments are internally illuminated.
Client Testimonial
“We began working with ASI and received a complete assessment of the exterior signage, followed by a detailed and thorough process to develop a new exterior signage program that met the needs of the community, residents, families, and visitors. The process was beneficial, productive, and detailed….ASI handled all aspects of the program…they are to be commended for the work they have done in assisting Windsor Park.”
