ASI, New England originally partnered with Ruth Super of Nashawtuc Architects to develop an interior architectural signage solution as well as a large wall-mounted donor wall for the foundation office. The donor recognition signage solution had to be easy to update and it needed to complement the modern interior décor. ASI, New England presented a signage option based on its patented Infinity™ modular signage system.

Fast-forward a few years…

Due to the success of the original Infinity™ donor recognition solution, the Boston Foundation staff turned to ASI again to develop a donor recognition solution that they could literally “roll out” to surprise the philanthropists that make the foundation’s work possible.

Sarah Myers, sales consultant with ASI, New England, said the following about the donor recognition solution on wheels.

“The Boston Foundation requested a portable recognition display to complement their custom Infinity™ updatable donor wall.  They literally wanted to be able to roll the display across the floor from a storage area.”

The inspiration for the solution came from another project created by ASI, Buffalo called “Larkin at Exchange.”

“I met with a local metal fabricator and designed the sign using a solid aluminum plate base with four casters and 2″ diameter posts slotted to accept the chassis and welded to the base. The header panel is slotted to slide down over the top of the chassis and the recognition plaques are acrylic, attached with PresTabs™,” said Myers.
