Expansive Donor Recognition Solution for Special Care Hospital
The Hospital for Special Care provides a full spectrum of medical treatment for complex rehabilitation and chronic disease for both children and adults. The bright, modern healing-focused hospital is set amid walking paths and flower gardens. Because the hospital is a private, not-for-profit organization, it recognizes donors who show a special commitment and interest in supporting Hospital for Special Care and its affiliates. The hospital’s most generous donors are named on a beautiful Donor Wall near the hospital main entrance. A donor appreciation reception is held each spring for our most generous donors.
The donor recognition solution or wall, as well as the other donor recognition signage, was fabricated and installed by ASI, New England. Sarah Myers, sales consultant for ASI, New England said the foundation staff at The Hospital for Special Care turned to ASI to provide a consultative solution for a solution to accommodate five to six separate donor programs, and all but one needed to be updated on an annual basis.
“The tall sections of the donor signage are made up of two pieces of 1/8″-thick tempered glass with a printed Mylar insert between, ” said Myers. “The small, square panels are 1/4″-thick tempered glass with silkscreened graphics and because these panels describe the donor program, they do not require updates.”
Myers went on to say that there is full-coverage 3M dusted crystal vinyl backing on the back surface of the glass panels. A custom brochure holder was designed to complement the glass and the hospital decor, which includes brushed aluminum finishes. All panels are mounted using adjustable edge-grip standoffs.
“We left room for future additional panels in accordance with the client’s predictions of program growth, “Myers said. “We also gave them the option of using any blank panels for photos/story-telling, etc.”
