More than 55 Years of
Innovation
In 1965, two brothers, Hanley and Stanley Bloom, patented a revolutionary process that created a company, founded an industry, and provided a blueprint for enduring success. This innovative process revolved around the use of a Letraset process for the application of graphic text to sign panels.
ASI grew out of the entrepreneurial spirit of sign shop owners who saw the potential of adopting this unique process and unifying their product and service offering under one name. Over time, the company grew, added more sign companies to the mix yet never lost that entrepreneurial innovation.
Throughout the early years, and throughout the decades that followed, ASI pioneered the architectural sign industry and led the industry in every product and innovation, thus establishing an indelible brand identity as the trailblazer and trendsetter for the architectural signage market. Everything from leading the charge on wayfinding to the philosophy and rules behind ADA to helping to develop the first green strategies for signage.
Keeping up with technology and following its philosophy of being a market leader, ASI has developed digital signage solutions designed to enhance the human interface experience offering dynamic, timely and relevant wayfinding information in a highly visible and personal manner. This ongoing innovation has maintained ASI’s leadership position within the market place.
