Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital is a 238-bed not-for-profit community hospital and trauma center located in Valencia, California, in the Santa Clarita Valley. Founded in 1975, Henry Mayo’s outstanding affiliated medical staff is comprised of physicians whose expertise ranges across more than 71 specialties and subspecialties.
Henry Mayo management contacted ASI regarding an overhaul of their interior signage, noting that hospital staff was continuously fielding wayfinding questions from patients and their guests.
About the Solution
ASI was chosen as Henry Mayo’s signage partner for two reasons: the client desired all services from one capable design-build provider, and our systems enable the client to have in-house control of sign changes.
The resulting hospital-wide solution is based on Pacific Interior™ signage that, with oak accents, compliments the calming palette of Henry Mayo’s interior environment. Via integration of suspended and wall directionals with informative area signs, there is a marked drop in staff time giving directions, enabling more focus on patient care.
